If you're not crazy about a beach vacation, it's still nice to get away from your neighborhood and enjoy the sights and sounds of a whole different city.

2.    Park City, Utah. If your idea of the perfect spring break looks like another week of winter sports, then Park City, Utah is your vacation destination. This city offers a historic mining town vibe, and during March, snow sports are still happening in Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. However, you can go hiking and mountain biking, too. If not, festival season isn't over, and New Orleans has something to get into every single day. This location is perfect for friend groups or families, and you will never run out of things to get into in the Big Easy.

4.    Phoenix, Arizona. The desert may seem like an odd place to take a spring break vacation, but if you've never traveled through the desert, you're missing some of the most beautiful sights in America. Phoenix, Arizona offers hiking trails, fishing and boating, or taking an off-road trip through the desert terrain. Phoenix may seem like a quiet place to vacation, but it has an active nightlife as well. There are restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, and live music venues to explore every night of the week.

5.    Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. If you're looking for an East Coast location to spend the week, Hilton Head Island in South Carolina is the perfect place. Pets are welcome on beaches up until Memorial Day, and there are dozens of things to get into around the city.  With 12 miles of Atlantic Ocean beaches, this island is perfect for anyone interested in enjoying everything there is to do on the water. There are also a variety of different accommodations available. You can stay in a hotel, an inn, or a home rental, it all depends on what you want.

When it comes to picking the perfect spring break destination, you first have to decide if you’re looking to spend your time on the beach or if you’re interested in a spring vacation full of site-seeing and partying. Once you’ve made that decision, take some time to plan out the rest of your vacation, including your bucket-list items and your transportation to and from your location. If you’re not sure where to go, pick any one of the five places on this list. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.
